Tentsmuir Forest

Stretching over five square miles just south of Dundee, Tentsmuir Forest combines both deep pinewoods as well as endless sandy beaches.

This abandoned building is known as the Ice House. It was used as ice storage, to preserve the freshness of salmon caught in the nearby sea.

Common Ragwort looks beautiful but can be poisonous for cows and horses when eaten.
